As a member of The Coquille Indian Tribe, I sit on my Tribe's Health Advisory Board, the Culture and Education Committee and the Nasomah Health Group Board of Directors.

In 2008, I was working as an artist's agent at a commercial photography studio and was set free when the economy took a nosedive. Having already achieved certification as a clinical hypnotherapist and master level NLP practitioner, the timing was right for starting my own business. I found an office and built a website.

 

While at this most unstable and early point in my career, I bought a house. In the same year, I quit smoking and ran my first marathon. I started online dating because I wanted a methodical way to find a life partner, and someone to help me train for marathons. I learned that I had to tell the whole truth about what I want in order to find a partner that I not only love, but also like. (Sounds stupid, it's not.) I did, and I found him, but I still usually run alone.

In 2016, we added our niece to the household and it was time to narrow my focus. I sold my other two thriving businesses, and shifted my Essential Hypnotherapy work week to better accommodate a tween.

In addition to focusing on my Essential Hypnotherapy clients, I like to hang with my family, read, bake, paddle around in our canoe, do bead work, paint, make things in my garage, dig in the yard/garden, snowboard, run, and attend Tribal meetings and events.
